The curiousness of dogs is either something seen as adorable or something that gets them in trouble.
In the city of Denver, one Rottweiler wondered how it felt being in between a 10-centimeter wide fence and a cement wall. He eventually did so and squeezed in his body, leaving him no chance to get out himself.
No matter how he squirmed and fought, the fence was just too narrow for any movement. The situation seemed hopeless. Luckily, concerned citizens heard his pleas and came to rescue him.
The rescuers weren’t so sure why he ended up there because no one really saw him go in there. But when someone saw him stuck, they didn’t think twice in calling the Denver Animal Protection Office, which then responded immediately.
When they arrived, they saw how terrified the dog was after staying there for a long time. I mean, who wouldn’t panic if they’re stuck in a place where they can’t move? Because of this, it took them a lot of time to gain his trust. After a couple of minutes and some ice cream, he finally was willing to cooperate with the team.
Once he was calm and cooperative, the rescuers then gently lifted him up from the cramped up space. He then fell under the custody of Denver Animal Shelter, who eventually named him Frederick.
Aside from minor injuries, Frederick was relatively healthy. He’s also a playful dog who likes eating sweets.
Sadly, Frederick doesn’t have a microchip, and no one came to claim him yet. If no one does after a period of time, the shelter will put him up for adoption, which will be too easy since he’s a sweet dog. Well, we look forward to more updates about this curious pup!
