Can two different animals become friends? If they got along, will they understand each other? Research says that animals don’t have their language, unlike humans do.

Animals communicate through sounds and their gestures. When you see two different animals playing, you would probably wonder if they understand each other as they transmit their messages in many ways through nonverbal ways, such as biting and chasing each other.

In their Instagram account, you’d see a special bond between two different animals — Polly, a blind stray kitten, and Paxton, a Labrador Retriever. If you don’t know these two best friends, you’d think how these two animals get along. However, they proved that they could still be best friends, even if they are different. Indeed, their friendship warms hearts because they love each other, similar to how humans are.

Paxton and Polly’s friendship began when the former’s owner Morgan Webb from Delaware, USA, found the kitten in her backyard crying. After seeing the kitten’s condition, Morgan took Polly home. Paxton quietly stands and watches his mom Morgan give Polly some bath and removed her fleas.

According to Ms. Webb, Polly was just about a day old when she found her. She saw Polly’s condition with her ears still folded and suffers from severe hunger. Thus, she thought the kitten would not survive.

From their first meeting, Ms. Webb knew that these two cute species already loved each other from the very beginning. They would cuddle each other to show their affection even if they are different.

It’s heartwarming to see that even if Polly and Paxton are two different species, bringing love wherever they go is all that matters. They’re not afraid to express admiration for their furry sibling.
