Dogs are like humans too. They need companions; the best way to do this is to let your dog mingle with another canine. Of course, our presence makes our dogs’ lives happier, but it’ll surely make them more delighted if there’s another pet they can play with and cuddle with. Two Dogs?

According to dog experts, one of the best ways to improve our puppy’s social life is to live with another furry sibling. Therefore, having at least two dogs at home is advisable because it benefits both dogs and owners.

Friendlier

Allowing our dogs to bond with other pooch also helps reduce their anxiety and improves their social lives. When they have regular interaction with another canine, it makes them friendlier, even to humans.

Lady and Boomer

Lady, a Pomeranian, looked a little lonely. Lady’s parents realized it was time to get her a sibling, so they got Boomer to be her baby brother. Lady and Boomer didn’t hit it off right. Boomer tried to cuddle in the car on the way home. It was the perfect opportunity for the two dogs to get to know each other better. Lady didn’t have it.

Boomer tries to get close to his sister by sniffing her. Like any typical puppy, Boomer’s curious and persistent in getting close to another dog. Puppies don’t easily give up, especially when it’s playtime! However, Lady isn’t ready yet to socialize with her brother.

Lady growls whenever Boomer tries to put his face on his sister’s, and because Boomer’s bigger than Lady, the scenario looks hilarious and cute at the same time. Research shows that it’s sometimes not a smooth road when two dog siblings meet each other for the first time. However, their parents are very persistent and disciplined in training their dogs to get to know each other better, and now, Lady and Boomer are already to be best of friends.
