K9 Therapy Dog Sleeps Through His Ceremony

K9 Therapy Dog Sleeps Through His Ceremony

Noah McCallister January 20, 2023

Dogs who work with the police are always active and ready to help out at any time. But this story here proves that not all of them are like that. A K9 therapy dog Sleeps Through His Swearing-In Ceremony in Bristol, Rhode Island, shows he can be the opposite.

Brody, the newest addition

This dog is Brody, and he was the newest addition to the police staff at the Bristol Police Department. The department planned to get a dog to sniff out bombs or narcotics. But one of the officers, Keith Medeiros, said they could benefit from a comfort dog.

Sometime in March, the Bristol Police Department brought in a new colleague with four legs. Brody was good at bringing smiles to people because he has a brown face that is plump and adorable.

Young Brody is doing a great job.

He can walk into the office and have the people there smile at the sight. He is doing a good job, even just three months old.
