A pup named Brodie, whose previous owner severely mauled, ended up having a disfigured face. However, the courageous dog survived the brutal treatment, but the Brave Pup Moves On To A Wonderful Life.

Pup’s jaws were fused.

The vicious mauling had caused a severe cranial injury on top of the facial injuries that the poor puppy had received. The wounds healed up, but the pup’s jaws were fused, giving him a distorted facial appearance. The dog’s appearance had now made it difficult for him to be adopted into a new forever home.

Luckily the pooch, living at a shelter in Alberta, Canada, found a foster home, but his new family was quick to return him, citing that he was hyperactive and was not easy to handle. Things had undoubtedly taken a worrisome turn for our dear dog.

But, Brodie did not have to wait too long for his perfect human family. When Amanda Richter and her boyfriend Brad Ames heard about the pup’s story, they instantly got intent on adopting the pooch.

Amanda told reporters that Brodie was definitely hyperactive, but that also meant that he was an intelligent pooch. The dog usually took only ten minutes to learn new tricks.

Amanda and Brad are making sure to give the best life to their pooch. The doggo spends most of his time exploring the world around him and playing with his toys.
