We all know that dogs are amazing animals to have as pets. They’re loving and playful; you can spend hours hanging out with them. But unfortunately, some people don’t appreciate dogs as much as we do. Rescue Great Dane Fostered By Loving Family
A Great Dane abandoned
A Great Dane named Marshmallow was abandoned by her family and picked up as a stray. The animal control officers that picked up Marshmallow did call her owners, but Marshmallow’s owners didn’t want her back. Marshmallows eventually ended up in an animal shelter.
Thankfully, a woman named Jordann pulled Marshmallow from the shelter and gave her a loving home where she felt safe and loved. When Marshmallow first came to Jordann’s house, she was scared and timid. Marshmallow was still anxious about being in a different environment,
However, Jordann ensured Marshmallow felt welcomed and loved by her and her dogs. Marshmallow didn’t play with Jordann’s dogs, but she felt safe whenever Jordann was around. Marshmallow would only eat whenever Jordann was watching over her. During a thunderstorm, Jordann even lets Marshmallow sleep on her bed.

Eventually, Marshmallow realized she was finally in a safe environment and loved being with Jordann. Marshmallow loved meeting people and would often sit on a person’s lap immediately. Marshmallow didn’t like playing with other dogs, but she loved being around people.
New Family
Jordann and Marshmallow started to bond, and it came to a point when Jordann wasn’t sure she could let go of Marshmallow. Finally, however, Jordann knew that there was someone out there that could give Marshmallow an amazing forever home. So when the time came to meet Marshmallow’s forever family, Jordann couldn’t help but get so excited that Marshmallow was finally going to a home where she wouldn’t get abandoned again.
Although Jordann was sad to see Marshmallow go, she was sure Marshmallow would have a great time with her new family. Marshmallow’s new forever family cherish her so much that Marshmallow finally finds happiness. Here’s a heartwarming video of Marshmallow’s story and how she found her forever home.
