If there’s one activity that our canine pals love doing the most, it’s playing fun games. No matter the game, dogs willingly accede to its rules, so long as they can have fun with the people they love.
Thus, an English bulldog eagerly asks its fur dad to let it play with its chicken friends. However, the dog can’t contain his eagerness as it ends up playing a rough game with the poor birds.
Dad, can I play with the chickens?
In this funny footage, one can initially see an enclosure with three brown-feathered chickens inside. As the fowls forage on the grass, a white-furred English bulldog named Bertus saunters towards their cage.
At first, you’ll think Bertus’ merely curious about the chickens’ activities as he observes what they’re doing from outside. But, after taking a quick look, the dog hurriedly saunters towards Dad’s direction.
Bertus then gives Dad a pleading look, as if he’s asking permission to play with the chickens. But, even before Dad gives his consent, Bertus hurriedly walks towards the cage’s entrance.
Hey! Be gentle.
And, just like an overjoyed child, Bertus runs towards the chicken trio as soon as he steps inside their cage. The dog’s move ultimately surprised the chickens, rendering them helpless against its sneak attack.
At some point, Bertus even tackles one of the chickens, making it look like he’s about to bite its body playfully. Though the bulldog didn’t mean any harm, Dad issues a stern warning to prevent a mishap from happening.
But, Bertus didn’t immediately release his hold on the chicken. It took Dad a few more tries before the pooch reluctantly let go of the bird and headed out with a sheepish look on its face.
