With the pandemic spreading fear and havoc in communities and countries worldwide, countries have put everybody on lockdown. People who are not essential workers are not allowed to go out. Traveling has also been restricted, so people who need to communicate with their colleagues or friends and family have resorted to having virtual chats. Cats And Dogs Joining Virtual Meetings
Face-to-face meetings have been highly discouraged, so online is the way to go nowadays. It is a great way to be connected while also observing social distancing.
Taking advantage of virtual meetings.
A team of animal rescuers thought of taking advantage of these virtual gatherings to have fun and help dogs and cats.
The team’s goal would be to help raise funds that would be used for helping out shelter animals. To do that, they thought of having the animals join the virtual gatherings and help raise awareness for these animals.
Though the dogs are not that helpful in coming up with great ideas during the meetings, they indeed have been very helpful in brightening up people’s day. They were cute and gave a breath of fresh air. As a result, the meetings even became lighter and a lot more fun.
To meet with a shelter dog or a shelter cat, all you have to do is donate $50. That amount will allow you to spend 15 glorious minutes with an animal that can be adopted. Of course, if you feel like spending more time with the animal, you can do so for another $50.
Those who have joined these virtual meetings have said that it was money and time well spent. They were able to interact and connect virtually with the animals up for adoption, which gave them the needed boost. The animals can just pretty much do what they usually do, and they are not forced to do anything that they do not want to do.
