A few days ago, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida used its social media page to share the brand new official badge portrait of a K9 member. The adorable four-legged officer’s name is Chico, and he was dressed to impress! Adorable K9 Officer, Nice tie!
Chico proudly wore a decorated law enforcement uniform while posing in front of an American flag. Chico had his eyes directly looking at the camera as the photographer took the shot, his tongue slightly peeping under his nose.

The police department posted Chico’s official badge photo, saying the K9 officer posed for his new ID badge that day. They noted the pup’s dedication to the photoshoot and stressed that he wore a tie.
Whenever Chico is on the job, he typically goes “au naturel.” However, he makes sure to clean up nicely when the opportunity strikes. Of course, the staffer’s photoshoot was Chico’s chance to shine. So, he showed all his colleagues how it should be done. He went all out, and he nailed it!
Chico loves his work.
Chico is a five-and-a-half-year-old German shepherd who has been a member of the OCSO for over four years. His primary role is to work as a patrol and drug K9. Like the other K9 officers, Chico lives with his handler. Chico enjoys some fun time whenever he is not working, playing tug-o-war and Kongs.
With his adorable official portrait, Chico caught lots of attention. However, local social media stardom is nothing new to him. In August, the sheriff’s office used one of Chico’s silly snapshots while wearing a pair of blue-lensed shades to mark the National Dog Day.
Chico’s fans are most likely looking forward to his photo shoot for the upcoming Christmas season. Last year, Chico posed while wearing a Santa hat next to a Christmas tree. As always, Chico was at his best.
