Working From Home
Hannah Heil and her family are just some of the many employees affected by the lockdown. They had to pack up their office desks and relocate to their small farm, where the Internet is sometimes a problem in these trying times. Hannah and her husband worried a lot – about doing their jobs properly at home with such limited resources. They also miss their social lives – hanging out with their friends and enjoying different events.
With all the new adjustments, Hannah found a way to “entertain” herself and the whole family. She gave her full attention to their Newfoundland dog Hank and fixed his hair in various hairdos and styles. Hank didn’t mind all the fuss and even seemed to enjoy the different looks.
Easing Stress
According to Hannah, Hank’s presence helped them with all the work stress during the pandemic. Hannah said that they could sit and play with Hank when things go wrong. Somehow it eases their stress and exhaustion. During their “Hank breaks,” Hannah will develop a theme or a look and then fix Hank’s long black hair – completing it with clothes and props.
Dog Rocks Different Hair Do’s
Hank portrayed many roles throughout the quarantine period – he dressed as a chef, a fortune-teller, a Star Wars character, a hippie, and even Jack Sparrow! Hannah noticed how Hank loved their bond over the hairstyles and costumes. It gave them some time to de-stress and have fun – even their relatives and friends enjoy the different looks!

Hannah documented all of Hank’s looks in an Instagram account, Dog Rocks Different Hair Do’s, and the account has more than 19,000 followers. Hannah said the Hank dress’s best thing is that the Newfoundland enjoys himself with every photo shoot. Like a true NFF, he is loyal and very patient. Hannah is thankful that they have Hank in these trying times – she could at least get her mind off the stress and exhaustion of this pandemic.
